Raiders-Broncos: Expect a Shootout in Denver

The Oakland Raiders were held to nine points in last week's loss to San Francisco. It was the first time the Raiders scored less than 20 points since Week 2. Expect a rebirth for the Raiders offense, as Oakland looks for its third straight win in Denver against the banged-up Broncos.

The Denver defense resembles a MASH unit. Elvis Dumervil has been out all season. Brian Dawkins and Robert Ayers are out today, and Champ Bailey is questionable.

Look for the Raiders to pound the ball against a soft Broncos run defense and to take advantage of the Broncos' lack of a pass rush by stretching the field. Denver is near the bottom of the league in sacks, which helps a vulnerable Raiders offensive line.

Meanwhile, the Denver pass attack has been effective, regardless of the opponent. Kyle Orton has put up quality numbers every week, and that shouldn't change against a Raider defense that is susceptible to big plays.

The turnover battle will be crucial, as both teams should have their way on offense.

I like the Raiders to pull an upset in what should be a very entertaining game.

Oakland 33  Denver 30!
