First, on Saturday night in Chicago and now last night in the Staples Center, Chris Bosh and Lamar Odom each took their turn to complain about rookies trying to hard.
In the Heat's game against the Bulls, Omer Asik dove on the floor for a loose ball. After he dove, Bosh ran into him and turned his ankle. After the game, Bosh chose to levy the following criticism on Asik through ESPN's Brian Windhurst.
"C'mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen," Bosh said.
"You've got to watch people's legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job."
Seriously. He really said it. Chris Bosh, who just signed a guaranteed contract for $110 million, chose to throw "providing for your family" on the table. Somehow, I think that your family will still manage to put butter and bread on the table, Chris.

Then, last night against the Clippers, the Lakers' Lamar Odom got into a tussle with Blake Griffin, who was going too hard for a rebound, delivering a "ram in the back" when there was nine seconds left in the game and the Clippers were up.
Why it was okay for Odom to be going for the rebound, or for that matter, for Shannon Brown to be taking shots if the game is already decided seems a bit of a unasked and unanswered question.
Somehow I don't think that in all the previous beat-downs the Lakers have put on the Clippe...
