2010 NBA Finals: What Each Laker Needs to Do to Avoid Elimination

Kobe Bryant threw his best effort at the Boston Celtics, but it wasn't nearly enough. In a dizzying array of shooting, the Black Mamba did his best to will his Lakers teammates to victory against the Celtics. But despite his 38 point showing, Kobe found basically no help offensively from players like Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, and Ron Artest. Now, the team heads back to Los Angeles with its back against the wall. The Lakers have lost the momentum as the Celtics have wrestled control of the series. For the Lakers to stand any chance of coming back, they need efforts from all of their impact players, from Bryant to Odom. They can't just rely on Kobe for everything offensively. Defensively, they must hunker down in the post and also stop Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce from getting comfortable.
