Bryant is the first member of the 2008 "Redeem Team" to throw his hat in the ring for more Olympic glory, but will the team in 2012 need Bryant?
He'll have a few things going against him physically, obviously, as he begins to head into the twilight of his career.
Good for him in making the decision to try and help out Team USA again, but here are 10 reasons why we will not need him on the 2012 team that will still win the gold medal anyway.
