Los Angeles Laker’s Lamar Odom’s Reality is Unreality

Speaking from entertainment industry experience as a producer, writer and actor, any show, reality or otherwise, demands time from the participants, especially the stars.
Serving an entertainment network's programming needs, such as the "gossip network," E Entertainment, in my opinion, is NOT a good move during the Laker season, more so in light of what's presently happening within the Laker's team dynamic.
Offseason endeavors are fine, but to allow an almost certain in-season distraction, such as Lamar & Khloe's reality show, when LA is being seriously challenged this season by improved NBA teams in their quest to three-peat is risky and could very well backfire.
Lamar Odom is being paid millions to perform for the Los Angeles Lakers, NOT E Entertainment. Playing basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers IS HIS REALITY!
The facts are, the Lamar & Khloe show is about ratings and ad dollars for the E Entertainment Network, NOT the LA Lakers and potentially at the expense of negatively affecting the rest of the Laker season, including potential Laker play-off revenue.
Why would Laker management agree to an "invasion" of their well-guarded basketball privacy...during the season?
Isn't it so that it's hard enough to concentrate solely on winning their third straight title, knowing it will take a tremendous, focused effort, especially since more NBA teams have stacked their rosters with their primary intent to dethrone the Lakers?
I question the judgement of the Laker braintrust in allowing this...especially now in midseason, and moreover what they've been going through lately, win-loss and drama-wise.
Now, with the revelation that Kobe Bryant doesn't practice regularly and has limited cartilage left in his right knee, there are already too many distractions in Lak...
