Metta World Peace Compares Dwight Howard’s Injured Season to Performance in Bed

Metta World Peace has such a way with words.

I had the chance Monday night to sit down in Oakland and talk exclusively with the player I once knew as Ron Artest during my days of Sacramento Kings coverage.

He never disappoints.

As I chatted with World Peace about his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Dwight Howard, he created the perfect analogy to explain Howard's inability to perform:

"It's like having back surgery, and your partner is asking you to make love the same way," World Peace said. "It's impossible, you can't put your back into it as much."

He also added that Howard is "goofy," in a good way, but if he was 100 percent and his play was unaffected, it would be fine by the critics.

"He's just 70 percent and goofy."
