Oakland Raiders: Darren McFadden and Michael Bush to Carry Load in 2010

Adam Shefter is at it again, and this time he got one right. He has reported that Justin Fargas has been released from the Oakland Raiders. Fargas has even been removed from the current roster on the Raiders main website, Raiders.com. This means that the Darren Mcfadden and Michael Bush show is on for 2010.

This move wasn't much of a surprise. The Raiders have two young backs, including the No. 4 overall pick in 2008, Mcfadden, and 2007 draft steal Bush ready to take on the load. This should make the running game more fluid, and should provide more consistency for both backs.

Fargas isn't alone. Many other teams' favorite backs over thirty have been released in the last couple weeks. His reckless running style and warrior-like attitude will be missed.

Many teams should show interest in Fargas, because he can be signed at a bargain price, and will add toughness to any offense. Look for the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, and even the Kansas City Chiefs to look at him as an option to help their current backfield out.

Let the nicknames begin for the Mcfadden and Bush backfield duo. Double Trouble, Ground and Pound, The McBush Combo, or my personal favorite Run DMC and Grand Master Bush.
