Oakland Raider’s Darrius Heyward-Bey Answers Offseason Questions

This Q&A with DHB was found on the Oakland Raider's official website.

Again, I have to start this article out by saying, this is not my work.

I'm tired of reading the same recycled material over and over on B/R. (Which I'm guilty of myself.) 

It's important for me to say that I've met some great writers here in the B/R community, that more than hold their own when writing their aritlces. There's about 10 to 15 good writers in our Raider community, and I won't call you out. I'm sure you know who you are.

As for everyone else (including myself) it's the same recycled ariticles over and over.  

So instead, I wanted to post some things that I've found posted on several websites that I might think the Raider community would appreciate.

I did this with my last article and got some pretty good feedback.

Q: What's new

Heyward-Bey: Just going out and playing my game that’s all I’m doing right now and I’m using each practice to reach my goals

 

Q: You got your coach out there whooping and hollering when you catch the ball, what does that feel like for your confidence?

Heyward-Bey: I mean it just lets me know that my coaches are behind me and my teammates are behind me and that’s what we need to win games and I’m going to do the same for them when the make plays

 

Q: How do you categorize last year for you, a learning experience, what was last year like?

Heyward-Bey: Last year was a learning experience. I went out there and I played a lot learned a lot, and the getting hurt at the end was something I never experienced through high school or in college. So I just used it all as a learning experience and...
