Many fans have attributed that to JaMarcus Russell's play and Darius Heyward-Bey's inability to catch the ball.
But fact of the matter is it cannot all be blamed on JaMarcus and Hayward-Bey. There were other players who struggled and other receivers who had trouble catching the ball.
The Raiders receivers dropped balls regardless of who was at QB, but even with that said QB play is no excuse for a receiver dropping the ball.
Take a look at the Raiders' receivers by the numbers. For reference I will also include Dwayne Bowe who led the league in drops as well as Terrell Owens who is infamous for dropping passes to show how our recievers stack up against the "worst" hands in the league:
Dwayne Bowe- 70 receptions, 995 yards, 5 TDs, 11 drops.
Terrell Owens- 55 receptions, 829 yards, 5 TDs, 9 drops
Louis Murphy- 34 receptions, 521 yards, 4 TDs, 9 drops
Chaz Schilens-29 receptions, 365 yards, 2 TDs, 1 drop
Johnnie Lee Higgins- 19 receptions, 263 yards, 0 TDs, 6 drops
Darius Hayward-Bey- 9 receptions, 124 yards, 1 TD, 6 drops
Todd Watkins- 8 reception, 90 yards, 0 TDs, 5 drops
*Santana Moss- 70 receptions, 902 yards, 3 TDs, 5 drops*

I added Santana Moss because he led the Washington Redskins (led by Jason Campbell) in drops.
Jason Campbell is no longer throwing to the same quality of receivers he had in Washington. He is moving from a team with a bad O-Line and good receivers to a team whose O-Line was just as bad and has receivers with suspect hands.
It would seem as though many fans are putting far too much faith in Jason Campbell. He is only one man out of 11 on the field. He can't throw the the ball, block and then catch it.
It will take more than...
