The Raiders and Seahawks slugged each other through the first half, and the action picked up late. Oakland led 5-3 headed into the fourth quarter. Seahawks running back Troymaine Pope scored the game's first touchdown with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
After a poor start, running back George Atkinson scored both of the Raiders' touchdowns on a one-yard run and an 80-yard kickoff return. However, the Seahawks held on after a failed onside kick attempt for a 23-21 victory.
Unlike previous years, the Raiders' coaching staff will likely part ways with quality players due to the influx of talent on the roster. Some talents will get the axe after good performances over the past few weeks.
